How to copy your Facebook profile link

If your admin has requested a link to your public Facebook profile, we hope this document will help you provide that information easily.  Please keep in mind this process may vary based on different devices, Facebook app versions or web browsers.

iPhone & Android Facebook apps

1. While logged into your Facebook account, tap on the three-line menu button, then tap your name to access your personal Facebook profile.

   
   

   

2. Tap the three dots.

   
   

   

   
   

3. Scroll to the bottom under "Your profile link" and click on "Copy link".

   
   

   

4. Open VarageSale & follow these steps to message an admin: https://help.varagesale.com/article/392-how-do-i-contact-my-admin-if-im-denied
5. Paste the link in the field to private message your admin - generally this will be a long press function, which should give you the option to paste. 
6. Send your message.

Mobile Website

1. Using your mobile device's web browser, navigate to www.facebook.com. Be sure to select to open the link with your browser, if prompted.  You don't want to use the Facebook app.   

2. Log in, then tap on the three-line menu button in the top corner.  

   
   

   

3. Tap your name to access your personal Facebook profile.

4. Click the three dots.

   
   

   

5. Tap "Copy Link to Profile".

Desktop Website

1. Open your web browser, if it is not already open, or a new tab, and navigate to www.facebook.com

2. Click on your name in the top left corner.

   
   

   

3. Double-click in the address field of your browser to highlight the entire URL address starting with https://www.facebook.com

   
   

   

4. Right-click and select "Copy" OR use keyboard shortcuts CMD - C or CTRL - C to copy the URL address. 
5. Open a new tab and log into VarageSale OR click on the tab where VarageSale is open. 

6. Click on the envelope icon.

   
   

   

7. Click on the denial message from your community admin. 
8. In the message field, right-click and select "Paste" OR use keyboard shortcuts CMD - P or CTRL - P to paste the URL address.  
9. Send the message.
