How do I report an item?

You can report items that are prohibited on the VarageSale platform.  Before reporting, please review our  prohibited items article for which items are allowed.

If the item is prohibited in your community, but not prohibited on the platform (like pets, car seats, food items, baby formula), you can  report those items directly to your community's admins.  

iOS app

To report a prohibited item, tap the arrow icon to the right of the item title

Tap " Report as inappropriate/spam" and confirm that you'd like to report the item

Android app

To report a prohibited item, tap the three dots in the top right corner 
** Please note - hats are not prohibited on VarageSale.  This is an example only.  Please don't report hats.** 

Tap " Report item" and then "Report item" to confirm

Desktop website

To report a prohibited item, tap the " Report" link on the item page, then click "OK" to confirm reporting this item
