How do I reset my password?

To reset a forgotten password, follow these steps:

iOS & Android apps

1. Tap "Login" then tap "I forgot my password"
2. Enter your email address that is confirmed on your VarageSale account then tap "Email me"
   You should receive an email from us with a link to reset your password.
   
   NOTE:  If you have not previously confirmed your email address, you will not be able to reset your password until you have confirmed.  You will receive an email confirmation message first,  which you will need to complete before you can request a password reset.
   

Desktop website

There are two ways to change your password:

Option A - if you have forgotten your password

1. Click the "Login" button in the top right-hand corner then click "I forgot my password."
2. Enter the email address confirmed on your VarageSale account then click "Reset Password"
   You should receive an email from us with a link to reset your password.
   
   NOTE:  If you have not previously confirmed your email address, you will not be able to reset your password until you have confirmed.  You will receive an email confirmation message first,  which you will need to complete before you can request a password reset. 

Option B - If you know your password and want to change it, or you never set a password (this scenario is unusual)

1. Log into VarageSale using the Facebook login option (If you never used a password to log in) or your existing email and password (if you know your current)
2. Click on your name or profile picture at the top of the screen and select "Preferences"

   

3. Click "Security"
4. Enter your current password (leave blank if you never set a password), new password and password confirmation then click "Save"
