How do I delete my full VarageSale account?

To permanently delete your VarageSale account, please log into your account via our website to start the process.  You will need access the confirmed email account that is listed on your VarageSale account.

Please note: Deleting your account is permanent, and cannot be undone.  If you have any doubt as to which account you are deleting, please contact our help desk for assistance.  

Desktop website

1. Log into your VarageSale account on our website at www.varagesale.com.
   ** If you are not sure of your login credentials, use the Facebook login option.   Be sure to log into the Facebook account that is connected to the VarageSale account that you want to delete.
   ** If you no longer have access to the Facebook account connected to the VarageSale account to delete, you will need to use the email/password login.
2. Click on the profile picture name area and then click on Preferences
3. Click on the Edit Profile tab and verify the email address connected to your account (the email address must be confirmed) 
   Click here if you do not have access to the email account listed, OR your email address is not confirmed  
4. Click on the Security tab

5. Click on Delete my account

6. You will see a confirmation that the email was sent.  
   

7. Check your email and follow the enclosed instructions to finish deleting your account.  
   ** Please verify the profile picture, name and location listed in the email to ensure you are deleting the correct account. This action cannot be undone. **
   
   If you do not receive the account deletion email, please check your spam/junk folder or search your email for an email address for VarageSale.  You may need to white list, or add varagesale.com to an approved senders list, or check with your email provider to ensure they are not blocking the VarageSale domain.  

Mobile website

1. Log into your account on our website at www.varagesale.com using your device's web browser 
   ** If you are not sure of your login credentials, use the Facebook login option.   Be sure to log into the Facebook account that is connected to the VarageSale account that you want to delete.
   ** If you no longer have access to the Facebook account connected to the VarageSale account to delete, you will need to use the email/password login. 
   ** If you did not set up an email & password login for the account you want to delete, please email our help desk for assistance.
2. Tap the three lines menu button in the top left corner

   

3. Tap Settings

   

4. Tap Email and verify the email address connected to your account, then tap the back button on your device.  
   Click here if you do not have access to the email account listed or to verify if your email address is confirmed
5. Tap Security

   

6. Tap Delete my account

7. You will receive confirmation that an email was sent

8. Check your email and follow the enclosed instructions to finish deleting your account.
