How do I join VarageSale?

iOS app

You can find our VarageSale app in Apple's App Store for iPod/iPhone/iPad.

If you cannot download this app on your iOS device, you may need to update your device’s operating system. This can be done by checking your device for updates and downloading or connecting your device to your computer and updating it through iTunes.

1. Open the app and follow the prompts to sign up with Facebook, Apple, or Google. 
2. You will be prompted to find your location, so you can join a community close to you.  You can also manually enter your location, but for full use of distance features, we recommend automatically finding your location.  
3. You will be prompted to review or enter information to create your account, such as a profile photo of yourself, permissions, email address and a password.  

While you wait for the Admin team of your community to review your pending request, you will be able to browse but you won't be visible until you are approved by the Admin team.  Member's last names are truncated for privacy while you are pending.

Once approved, you should receive a notification or you can check back.  Don’t forget to confirm your email address by checking your email for a confirmation link. 

Please note: When using an iPad/tablet, you will want to magnify your view. Alternatively, you can use the web version on your iPad/tablet by simply going through the web on your device's browser at http://www.varagesale.com.

Android app

Desktop website

1. Open a web browser, navigate to http://www.varagesale.com and tap "Sign Up".

   

2. Enter your zip code or location then click "Go" to find your closest community.    

   

3.  Follow the prompts to sign up with Facebook or sign up with Email
4. You'll be prompted to enter some information, such as a profile photo of yourself, Facebook permissions, email address and a password.
