How do I add or change my profile picture?

Your profile picture is shared to VarageSale from Facebook or when you upload a photo directly during the account creation process.  You can change your profile picture at any time, subject to the guidelines of your community and our family friendly platform.  A profile picture is an important part of your membership, because it helps members feel more comfortable to see the person with which they are considering conducting a transaction.    

You can change your profile picture by following these steps below for each platform.  

iOS app

If you are currently denied or revoked in your only community, just tap the link visible to access your app settings and continue at step 2.

1. Tap "Me" on bottom navigation bar then scroll to and tap "Settings"

   

2. Tap the edit icon on your existing profile picture

   

3. Select your preferred option from "Take a new photo" or "Choose from your photo library"

   

4. After taking or selecting your photo, you can preview it, then tap "Choose"

   

Android app

 If you are currently denied or revoked in your only community, just tap the link visible to access your app settings and continue at step 2.

1. Tap "Me" on the bottom navigation bar,then scroll to and tap "Settings"

   

2. Tap the edit icon on your existing profile picture

   

3. Select your preferred option from "Take a new photo" or "Choose from your photo gallery"

   

4. After taking or selecting your photo, tap "Use Photo", zoom or rotate, and then tap "Done"

   

Desktop Website

1. Click on your name/profile picture in the top right corner then select "Preferences"

   

2. On the "Edit Profile" tab, click the edit icon on your existing profile picture
3. Browse to and select a photo from your available storage options on your computer
4. Preview your selection, edit as necessary and click "Make my profile pic"
