How do I follow or unfollow a member?

What can you do when you find someone who has items you ALWAYS love, and want to know when they post more? You can follow them on VarageSale to receive periodic updates when they post items.

iOS & Android mobile apps

To Follow:

1. Navigate to the member's profile by tapping on their name/profile picture in the item view, comments or private message conversation
2. Tap the "Follow" button
3. The button changes to "Following" or "Unfollow", indicating you are now following that person.  You will be notified periodically when the member posts new items

   

To Unfollow:

1. Navigate to the member's profile by tapping on their name/profile picture in the item view, comments or private message conversation
2. Tap "Following" or "Unfollow"
   Ensure that the button says " Follow", indicating you are NOT following that person.  You will not be notified when the member posts new items.

   

Desktop website

To Follow:

1. Navigate to the member's profile by tapping on their name/profile picture in the item view, comments or private message conversation
2. Click "Follow" in the upper right corner

   

   Ensure that the button says "Unfollow", indicating you are now following that person.  You will be notified periodically when the member posts new items.
   
   Alternatively, if you hover over a member's profile photo you'll see a mini-profile where you can see basic member information. You can also follow (click the plus) or unfollow (click the minus) or message the member.

To Unfollow:

1. Navigate to the member's profile by tapping on their name/profile picture in the item view, comments or private message conversation

2. Click " Unfollow" in the upper right corner
   Ensure that the button says " Follow", indicating you are NOT following that person. You will not be notified when the member posts new items.
